Generic Nail Guns

Implements non-unique Nail Guns and distributes them across the wasteland.

This mod adds two new “generic” variants of Lonesome Road’s H&H Tools Nail Gun and distributes them across the game. They deal slightly lower damage and have less innate effects. The H&H Tools Nail Gun has been slightly modified visually to be more unique, and is now a wholly exclusive item to the Divide.

Nail Gun

Deals 4 damage at full condition & skill.
Guns skill requirement: 25
Worth 200 caps. (50 with TTW)
Not silent.
No bonus limb damage.
No bonus crit chance.

Heavy-Duty Nail Gun

Deals 6 damage at full condition & skill.
Guns skill requirement: 25
Worth 650 caps. (150 with TTW)
Is silent.
Has bonus limb damage.
No bonus crit chance.

H&H Tools Nail Gun

Deals 9 damage at full condition & skill.
Guns skill requirement: 75
Worth 5000 caps. (500 with TTW)
Is silent.
Has bonus limb damage.
Has bonus crit chance.

Other notes

All the nail guns use the nail ammo list, so they are automatically compatible with mods that add to this list. The Lonesome Road H&H Tools Nail Gun has also been set to use this ammo list via scriptrunner.
The new weapons are also automatically compatibile with ySI, they all use the nail gun icon.

Locations

Wherever Lonesome Road placed the H&H Tools Nail Gun outside of the Divide has been changed to instead place one of the generic nail gun variants. This affects merchants, I believe.

In addition, Nail Guns can be found in:

  • Toolboxes
  • Tool cabinents

To help replenish ammo supply, Nails have been made much more widespread and can be found many generic clutter lists. You should be able to find some in metal boxes, lockers, and more with the Scrounger perk.
The Heavy-Duty Nail Gun can usually only be found in toolboxes marked as high tier.
